Welcome to Anne Oakes - Dyslexia Specialist. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using our services. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services Provided
I offer professional dyslexia assessments, consultations, and literacy support services tailored to the needs of children, young people, and adults.

2. Appointments

• Appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

• Sessions will start and finish at the agreed time. If you arrive late, the session may still need to end at the scheduled time.

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may incur a fee.

3. Fees and Payments

• Fees for services will be communicated in advance.

• Payments must be made as agreed, either in full prior to the session or as per the invoicing terms provided.

• Missed appointments or late cancellations may still be charged.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Clients are expected to provide accurate and complete information relevant to the services being provided.

• For minors, a parent or guardian must provide consent and may be required to attend sessions as appropriate.

• Any materials or reports provided are for personal use and should not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

5. Confidentiality

• All information shared during sessions will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing services.

• Exceptions to confidentiality include situations where disclosure is required by law or to prevent harm.

6. Limitation of Liability

• While every effort is made to provide high-quality services, no guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes.

• I am not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of services or recommendations provided.

7. Intellectual Property

• All materials, resources, and reports created by Anne Oakes - Dyslexia Specialist remain the intellectual property of the provider.

• Clients may use these materials for personal purposes but may not reproduce, share, or sell them without explicit permission.

8. Termination of Services

• Either party may terminate services at any time with 4 weeks notice.

• Services may be terminated immediately if there is a breach of these terms or inappropriate behaviour.

9. Amendments

• These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.

10. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under these laws.
